📋 Description

• Gather and analyze personal property tax data for filings by EY • Review personal property tax returns, make timely tax payments, and maintain the personal property tax calendar • Assist in managing personal property tax and sales and use tax audits, including data gathering, research, and analysis • Prepare required business licenses and license payments and maintain the business license calendar • Respond to personal property tax and business license notices and discuss them with state and local government agencies • Monitor personal property tax and business license accounts for compliance • Respond to property tax, business license, and other tax inquiries from internal Conduent Business Groups • Prepare tax resale and tax exemption certificates for Conduent AP suppliers and maintain certificates in Vertex Series O • Review, analyze, and clear Ariba sales tax exceptions daily • Respond to Accounts Payable supplier inquiries regarding sales and use tax • Review monthly sales and use tax journal entries to accrue sales tax not collected by Conduent suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent educational background • Minimum of 4 years of experience in property tax and Sales & Use Tax • Experience supporting tax audits, compliance filings, tax research, and reporting activities preferred • Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams
