📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Conexa AI’s core services, with a focus on accuracy, scalability, security, and observability • Design and implement generative and agentic AI features in production, including agents, RAG pipelines, workflows, LLMs, and integrations via MCPs • Build and evolve multi-stack distributed systems using Node.js, Python, and Java, including RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and streaming pipelines • Integrate microservices, legacy systems, and AI platforms, ensuring consistency, resilience, and traceability • Work with RabbitMQ, BullMQ, and event-driven architectures for asynchronous processing and workflow orchestration • Design, optimize, and maintain relational, non-relational, and vector databases, including embeddings, caching, and eventual consistency • Make occasional contributions to the React/TypeScript front end • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in multi-tenant production environments, including nondeterministic behavior in LLM-based systems • Ensure quality through automated testing, agent quality evaluations (evals), and sound engineering practices • Identify new applications for generative and agentic AI within the Conexa ecosystem • Prototype technical spikes and POCs to validate technical feasibility and business value • Participate in defining AI applications for the team’s roadmap • Bring up-to-date AI knowledge and assess the pragmatic adoption of models, techniques, tools, and practices • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Data, and AI teams on integrated deliveries • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team’s technical and strategic evolution

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS, with proficiency in strict TypeScript and microservices architectures • Strong experience with Java and Spring (Boot, Data, Security) • Experience with Python (FastAPI or equivalent) applied to service and API development, particularly in generative AI • Hands-on experience building AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations in production • Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools such as n8n or equivalent platforms • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as data modeling, complex queries, and performance tuning • Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, and event-driven architectures such as RabbitMQ and BullMQ • Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search • Experience designing and versioning RESTful APIs and WebSockets • Ability to read and enhance front-end code in React/TypeScript • Regular, advanced use of agentic AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot, including customization with MCPs • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and cross-functional squads • Analytical, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and product decisions in highly ambiguous environments • Preferred areas of expertise: leading 0-to-1 AI initiatives, AI systems observability, AWS, cloud architecture, digital health products or regulated domains, and generative/agentic AI research
