📋 Description

• Create and maintain Contabo's new product line • Make design, code, and infrastructure decisions based on product strategy and time-to-market • Build customer-facing interfaces for Contabo's platform, primarily GUIs • Work with cloud-native open-source tools such as Terraform and CLIs • Develop in the open with an active presence • Build on top of APIs and standardize APIs • Collaborate closely with UX designers to create the best customer experience • Develop the product from the ground up in a greenfield environment • Integrate the product with design frameworks and help shape its design • Participate in on-call activities • Proactively improve system redundancy and uptime • Bring learnings back into the team

🎯 Requirements

• Strong production experience with TypeScript 5.9 and using the type system to prevent bugs • Svelte 5 experience, including client-side routing with svelte5-router; deep prior Svelte experience is not required with strong TypeScript and comparable modern reactive framework experience • Experience building and consuming REST APIs • Comfortable working with evolving APIs • Experience with Docker, Webpack 5, and PostCSS • Experience with Svelte Material UI (SMUI) or a comparable component library • End-to-end testing experience with Playwright and/or Cypress • Keycloak.js or comparable SSO/OAuth implementation experience • Fluent English skills required • German language skills are a plus • Willingness to participate in on-call duties • Commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to a new product team
