📋 Description

• Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting, including AP/AR, journal entries and account reconciliations • Assist with month-end close and maintain accurate client books • Prepare schedules and support financial statements and management reporting • Review transactions and identify discrepancies or items requiring attention • Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work • Maintain organized and up-to-date client records • Communicate with the team and eventually work directly with clients on accounting questions • Improve processes, systems and workflows • Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects • Work with a portfolio of international clients alongside experienced accountants

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or currently completing one • 2–3+ years of relevant accounting experience • Understanding of basic accounting principles • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and accounting systems • Organized and detail-oriented • Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining attention to detail • Comfortable communicating in English, both in writing and verbally • Willingness to ask questions and investigate unclear issues • Curious and eager to learn • Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero is a plus • Experience in public accounting, audit, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 is a plus
