📋 Description

• Own the organization’s overall security posture, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and endpoint/identity protection • Direct security monitoring and incident investigation, including EDR/SIEM alert triage, threat hunting, and formal incident reporting • Lead response to active threats and major security incidents and breaches • Define and maintain security architecture standards across Azure and GCP cloud environments • Establish and enforce security policies covering access control, data protection, endpoint management, acceptable use, and related areas • Build, lead, and develop the information security team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning • Set priorities, objectives, and accountability structures for security architects, analysts, IAM/GRC leads, and other direct reports • Manage team workload and resources for monitoring, incident response, and project delivery • Define and own the organization’s security architecture and strategy • Lead design and implementation of security controls for networks, endpoints, applications, and cloud workloads • Conduct secure-by-design reviews for new projects and technologies • Set technical standards for security tooling selection, deployment, and integration • Evaluate emerging threats and technologies and adjust the security roadmap • Own the security incident response program from detection through post-incident review • Establish and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and escalation procedures • Coordinate with legal, communications, and executive leadership on breach notification and external disclosure requirements • Drive continuous improvement using lessons learned, tabletop exercises, and threat intelligence • Develop, maintain, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures • Align policies with regulatory and contractual requirements and establish governance structures • Represent security in client, partner, and regulatory due-diligence engagements • Act as primary liaison with internal and external auditors, coordinating audit scope, evidence collection, and remediation • Own the security risk management program, risk register, treatment plans, and executive reporting • Report security risk posture to executive leadership and the board using business-relevant metrics • Own and manage the security budget, including forecasting, prioritization, and ROI analysis • Build business cases for security investments while balancing risk reduction, cost, and operational impact

🎯 Requirements

• Senior executive accountability for information security strategy, governance, and program execution • Technical depth in security architecture, identity and access management, data protection, and SIEM/SOC operations • Experience with threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and endpoint/identity protection • Knowledge of Azure and GCP cloud security architecture • Knowledge of network segmentation, firewall/NGFW policy, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) • Experience establishing and enforcing access control, data protection, endpoint management, acceptable use, vendor security, and incident response policies • Experience leading, hiring, coaching, and managing information security teams • Experience with security controls for networks, endpoints, applications, and cloud workloads • Experience with EDR/SIEM alert triage, threat hunting, incident reporting, and major breach response • Knowledge of regulatory and contractual requirements, security audits, risk management, and board-level reporting • Experience managing security budgets, forecasting, prioritization, and return-on-investment analysis
