📋 Description
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure testability and clarity. • Design, document, and execute manual test cases based on functional specifications. • Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues. • Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing to ensure stability of releases. • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities. • Ensure test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases. • Contribute to continuous process improvement and best QA practices.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automation testing. • Strong experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Proficiency in writing test scripts using languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). • Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior QA team members.
