Crimson Academies also develops in-house platforms to support multi-campus operations and learning: a global Student Information System (Global SIS), TEMPO (a New Zealand SIS), Learning Lab (a learning management system with AI teaching assistants), Bright (global HR/credentialing), and an Enrolment platform. 📋 Description

• Lead attendance and engagement strategy, systems, data and Board reporting schoolwide • Own attendance policies, codes, dashboards and intervention tiers • Work with pastoral Deputy Principals who follow up their year levels • Oversee student support and case management • Chair the weekly Student Support meeting • Oversee individual plans, reviews and escalation of persistent non-attenders • Oversee SENCO, ESOL, IEPs, ORS and RTLB applications and learning assistant timetables • Act as the school's key link with Oranga Tamariki, RTLB, health, counselling and Youth Services • Lead GATE and enrichment programmes and access for priority and disengaged learners • Lead restorative practice, stand-down and suspension procedures and behaviour data • Report termly on attendance, engagement and learning support to the Board • Report to the Principal on the portfolio • Line-manage portfolio leaders • Contribute to staff PLD and share the duty roster • Include a teaching component

🎯 Requirements

• Registered teacher with a full practising certificate • Proven middle or senior leadership in pastoral care, learning support or student services • Data-confident, able to turn attendance and engagement numbers into clear actions and Board-ready reports • Calm and warm with young people and whānau in difficult moments, and firm on process • Experience working with outside agencies and across staff teams • Commitment to equity and honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi in learner support
