Crimson Academies is an education venture studio that builds and scales innovative schools and the AI-native software that runs them. The group acquires and grows schools rethinking how students learn and operates a portfolio of five schools spanning primary and secondary education — including Crimson Global Academy (an online high school), Aotearoa Infinite Academy (tuition-fee-free online schooling for New Zealand), Future School (AI-enabled, project-based learning), Mt Hobson Academy (online primary/project-based learning and parent-led programs), and Summit Point School (specialist support for neurodiverse students). Crimson Academies also develops in-house platforms to support multi-campus operations and learning: a global Student Information System (Global SIS), TEMPO (a New Zealand SIS), Learning Lab (a learning management system with AI teaching assistants), Bright (global HR/credentialing), and an Enrolment platform. Headquartered in Auckland and led by CEO Penelope Barton and co-founder Jamie Beaton, the studio emphasizes AI-enabled learning, global scale, and building software and operations alongside schools.

📋 Description

• Teach engaging PE and Health through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-12 students • Deliver Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum • Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community • Deliver inspiring live online Health and PE lessons • Design personalised learning experiences • Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment • Collaborate with a high-calibre team of innovative educators • Support student progress through differentiated instruction • Provide meaningful formative assessment, with quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment, aligned to curriculum goals • Contribute positively to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team • Develop genuine partnerships with, and report to parents and caregivers to support learning

🎯 Requirements

• NZ Teaching Registration • Teaching qualification and subject expertise • Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3) • Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology • Desirable: IGCSE teaching experience • Desirable: Online or blended learning experience • Desirable: Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms
