📋 Description

• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of LogScale cells • Respond to incidents and participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations • Upgrade LogScale clusters and microservices using ring-based rollout strategies • Deploy patches, update configurations, and recover cells when failures occur • Build and maintain monitoring with defined Service Level Indicators • Implement alerting, synthetic test suites, and operational dashboards for troubleshooting and root cause analysis • Write Go microservices and automation scripts to automate operational procedures, reduce toil, and enable self-healing • Collaborate with product engineering and customer support teams on production issues and platform changes • Participate in mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and large-scale distributed systems engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations • Significant experience operating and improving distributed systems at scale • Experience with capacity planning, resource optimization, and infrastructure scaling operations • Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or a similar programming language • Experience with AWS, OCI, or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and infrastructure-as-code • Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools • Passion for reliability engineering and operational excellence • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs between operational stability and feature delivery • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes • Bonus: monitoring systems, SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, alerting, distributed-system troubleshooting, database/log/search/SIEM platforms, self-healing automation, Kafka or similar streaming platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, and cybersecurity
