📋 Description

• Lead incident response engagements • Perform advanced host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms • Advise organizations while they respond to threat actor activity • Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management • Present technical material to non-technical and technical audiences • Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events • Lead scoping calls with English- and Japanese-speaking employees and customers to gather information related to security incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as the Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists • Background using a variety of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise • Strong knowledge of network protocols and network analysis tools, with ability to analyze associated network logs • Deep understanding of targeted attacks and ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations • Familiarity with threat intelligence, adversary attribution, and its application to incident response • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including presenting technical content to senior executives • Fluent in both Japanese (native level speaker) and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Undergraduate degree or direct experience in information security, information systems, or computer science • Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) highly desirable • Experienced user of CrowdStrike Falcon preferred • Experienced user of Splunk, LogScale, or similar solutions preferred • Experience with host and network forensics preferred • Experience with basic static and behavioral malware analysis preferred • Applicable security certifications (GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, etc.)
