📋 Description

• Identify and research suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and exporters in India and overseas • Source materials, goods and procurement requirements based on organizational specifications • Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers • Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, delivery timelines, quality, warranty and other commercial terms • Develop and maintain supplier relationships • Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, reliability, capacity and delivery performance • Communicate with suppliers through email, phone, WhatsApp, online platforms and other business channels • Coordinate samples, product specifications, technical details and documentation • Support domestic and international procurement transactions • Research international suppliers and sourcing markets • Coordinate with logistics, shipping and relevant stakeholders • Track purchase requirements from enquiry through order completion and delivery • Maintain records of suppliers, quotations, negotiations, purchase details and procurement status • Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve commercial terms • Escalate quality, delivery, pricing and supplier-related issues • Build a supplier database for recurring procurement requirements • Ensure procurement is completed within budget and required timelines

• Excellent negotiation and commercial discussion skills • Strong supplier handling and relationship management skills • Confident communication with suppliers and vendors • Ability to negotiate with Indian and international suppliers • Ability to compare quotations and identify the best commercial option • Market research and supplier discovery skills • Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously • Ability to work proactively and independently • Strong written and verbal communication • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision • Result-oriented rather than attendance-oriented • Procurement and sourcing • Supplier/vendor management • Price and commercial negotiation • Vendor evaluation • Market and supplier research • Quotation comparison • Purchase coordination • Communication and follow-up • Documentation and record management • International sourcing • Import/export knowledge • International supplier platforms • Logistics and shipping coordination • Knowledge of Incoterms • Understanding of international payment terms • Experience with manufacturing suppliers • Prior procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management or supply-chain experience is an advantage • Candidates may be from India or any other country
