📋 Description

• Plan and implement modern network technologies • Professionally support IT networks, focusing on firewalls • Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for network-related questions • Troubleshoot and eliminate faults in network environments • Perform error analysis and root cause analysis • Develop strategies for service improvement • Document service architectures for various network environments • Create and maintain customer-specific service and operating documentation, including operating manuals and CMDB links

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience supporting IT networks, particularly with a focus on firewalls • Very good knowledge of firewalls with appropriate certification (Fortinet FCP or FCSS) • Knowledge of Fortinet, Forcepoint, PaloAlto and Sophos desirable • Basic knowledge of Meraki and HPE network products ideally • Good knowledge of proxies, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS systems and firewall log analyzers • Knowledge of Ansible, Python and APIs on network components for automation • Experience with network management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, HP IMC and Network Nodemanager • Familiarity with ITIL and ISO 20000 • Business-fluent English, written and spoken • German language skills desirable • Motivation to learn new things and familiarize yourself with new topics
