📋 Description

• Administer, configure, monitor, and manage the lifecycle of IBM POWER systems running AIX • Perform performance tuning, patch management, and troubleshooting • Create, maintain, and continuously update detailed system, architecture, and environment documentation according to internal standards • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for operational and administrative processes using scripting and orchestration tools • Support the architectural design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of new infrastructure components, including servers, operating systems, and related services • Plan and execute system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations • Conduct risk assessments, testing, stakeholder coordination, and post-migration validation

🎯 Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in the administration and configuration of AIX systems in enterprise environments • Solid experience in the administration of enterprise storage infrastructures, such as HP 3PAR and IBM V7000; additional storage technologies are a plus • Experience working with other Unix/Linux distributions • Strong shell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Structured, independent, and responsible approach to work • High level of customer orientation • Service and solution-focused mindset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken • German language skills are considered an advantage
