📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and provide daily support for on-premises server and virtual machine infrastructure. • Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly operating system and server component patching activities. • Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and increase the consistency and reliability of maintenance activities. • Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities affecting operating systems, applications, middleware, and infrastructure. • Work with Information Security to address security findings and compliance requirements. • Coordinate and implement change requests related to firewalls, networks, and infrastructure. • Manage the server lifecycle, including hardware upgrades, software upgrades, decommissioning of end-of-life technologies, and platform modernization. • Monitor the health, capacity, performance, and availability of environments. • Lead root cause analyses and infrastructure problem management activities. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, patching schedules, and runbooks. • Collaborate with application, DBA, network, cloud, and vendor teams. • Drive continuous improvements in operational excellence, security, automation, and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration in enterprise environments. • Knowledge of virtualized infrastructure platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, OpenShift, or equivalent technologies. • Strong knowledge of operating system patching, software lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, and change management processes. • Practical knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles. • Experience working with structured change control and governance processes in large enterprise environments. • Experience using internal tools and processes for infrastructure operations, deployment, and management. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business teams. • Use of Agile methodologies to manage priorities and deliver results in dynamic production environments. • Advanced English proficiency for daily communication. • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus. • Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python. • Experience with configuration management and deployment automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins. • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Splunk and Dynatrace. • Experience with vulnerability management solutions and security remediation programs. • Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments, including on-premises and cloud platforms. • Knowledge of backup and recovery processes, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure resilience best practices. • Experience implementing infrastructure hardening, compliance standards, and operational excellence initiatives.
