📋 Description

• Lead the financial operations of Devsu and act as a strategic partner to leadership • Own financial visibility, planning, and decision support across the company • Ensure financial accuracy and help shape the financial direction of the business • Own the monthly close process across entities • Oversee preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements • Ensure compliance with Ecuadorian accounting, tax, and labor regulations and U.S. GAAP • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors in U.S. and Ecuador jurisdictions • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning • Build and maintain financial models supporting growth decisions • Provide insights on profitability by client/service line, cost structure, margin optimization, cash flow, and capital allocation • Support leadership on pricing, expansion, and efficiency initiatives • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities • Design and implement cost control and financial discipline frameworks • Improve financial processes, reporting clarity, and internal controls through automation and AI • Support cross-border structure optimization and tax efficiency with advisors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles, with increasing responsibility • Strong knowledge of Ecuadorian accounting and tax regulations (required) • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP required • Experience managing multi-entity or international financial operations • Proven experience in financial planning, modeling, and analysis (FP&A) • Strong business acumen—ability to connect numbers to decisions • Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills • Fluent in Spanish and English • Nice to have: Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, or equivalent advanced degree • Nice to have: Experience in company valuations (DCF, comparables, transaction support) • Nice to have: Background in software / tech services companies • Nice to have: Experience supporting executive teams or founders directly • Nice to have: Exposure to M&A, fundraising, or financial structuring • Thinks like an owner, not just an accountant • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and autonomy • Able to challenge assumptions with data and logic • Balances attention to detail with big-picture thinking • Wants to grow into a future CFO role
