📋 Description

• Own end-to-end finance operations across APAC, initially focusing on Vietnam and Indonesia • Manage accounting, invoicing, settlement, reconciliation, banking, and payments • Review and optimise local accounting operations with external providers • Support selection, negotiation, onboarding, and transition of accounting providers • Manage local banking relationships and entity financing activities • Coordinate documentation, banking processes, regulatory registrations, and reporting • Support monthly financial reporting and P&L analysis across APAC • Identify trends, variances, and risks and provide insights to management and business teams • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Serve as a Finance point of contact for APAC partners • Own complex or urgent finance cases and coordinate timely resolution • Improve billing, reconciliation, and payment workflows with Finance, Product, and Tech • Support financial setup of new partners, markets, and entities • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and evolving business priorities

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant finance experience • Solid accounting and financial operations knowledge • Hands-on experience with month-end closing, invoicing, payments, settlements, reconciliations, and financial controls • Practical experience with local GAAP and IFRS • Experience working with external accountants and tax advisors across APAC markets • Ability to review and challenge external providers’ work and independently drive topics to completion • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis • Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, and AI tools • Interest in technology and automation for finance processes and analysis • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills • Confidence working directly with partners, banks, and service providers • Fluent English and Vietnamese required • Big 4 or audit background is a nice-to-have • Experience with Payment Service Providers, banking, or payment operations is a nice-to-have • Experience in technology, marketplace, e-commerce, travel, or transaction-heavy businesses is a nice-to-have • Exposure to group reporting and European or international headquarters is a nice-to-have
