📋 Description

• Design and build scalable software solutions across specific product areas or multi-component systems • Write and review code, demonstrating technical leadership while mentoring junior engineers • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and create impactful solutions • Develop and execute comprehensive roadmaps balancing technical quality, business impact, and user experience • Contribute to the team culture through mentorship, interviewing, and active engagement in new initiatives • Participate in occasional on-call work to address bugs, outages, or other operational issues and maintain a stable, high-quality customer experience • Develop seamless, scalable, and user-friendly front-end and back-end experiences for Dropbox users • Support Dropbox’s technology stack for rapid prototyping and reliable deployment of AI-augmented functionality

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles • Experience in both front-end (JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML/CSS) and back-end (Node.js, Python) development • BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience • Success developing and deploying large-scale full-stack applications • Proficiency in building front-end interfaces and back-end systems, delivering minimum viable products quickly • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations as needed by the team • Awareness: Understand yourself and others • Judgment: Evaluate information and make decisions in complex situations • Adaptability: Learn, adjust, and stay effective through change • Connection: Communicate, collaborate, and build trust
