📋 Description

• Design and implement Microsoft Fabric platform foundations, including capacities, workspaces, OneLake, environment structures, and platform configuration • Establish and manage DEV, TEST, and PROD environments and deployment strategies • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and other automation technologies • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub • Implement security, identity, and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC • Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Azure services and broader cloud platforms • Develop reusable automation and deployment patterns for consistency and scalability • Support monitoring, logging, operational readiness, and platform governance • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to enable workloads and remove platform barriers • Produce technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Fabric platform architecture and engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Azure Cloud Engineering experience • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its core platform components • Experience implementing Fabric capacities, workspaces, and OneLake • Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub CI/CD pipelines • Experience implementing Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and cloud security controls • Experience designing and managing Fabric environments across DEV, TEST, and PROD • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, governance, and operational best practices • Experience automating cloud platforms using PowerShell and/or Python • Experience working within enterprise cloud environments • Good understanding of data platform concepts and how data workloads consume cloud infrastructure • Azure certifications would be advantageous • Terraform, DevOps, or cloud platform certifications are beneficial • Experience with Microsoft Fabric REST APIs, platform automation, Azure integration, data ingestion workloads, notebook-based solutions, regulated cloud environments, FinOps, and cloud cost optimisation is advantageous
