📋 Description

• Operate as a contract team member supporting the American Petroleum Institute (API) • Receive additional auditor training • Perform Quality Management Systems audits of manufacturing and oil and natural gas service organizations • Perform technical audits against product specifications, performance criteria, management systems, and contract requirements • Conduct audits at assigned client locations • Travel to and from audit locations • Prepare audit reports and reporting in English • Work in varied environments, including offices, confined spaces, and elevated locations

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED with technical training required • University or College (post-secondary) degree in a technical field preferred • At least four years of appropriate technical/quality work experience • Minimum of two years of auditing experience or two years of professional experience, or two years combining auditing and professional experience • Oil and gas industry experience or experience in similar manufacturing and/or service industries • Working knowledge of machining, heat treatment, welding, coating, and NDE • Ability to identify design, performance/testing, material, marking, packing, and shipping requirements from technical documents • Working knowledge of applicable management system standards, including API Spec Q1 • Effective English speaking, reading, writing, and reporting skills • Fluent in the local language of the audits where the auditor lives and works • Ability to travel to audit locations using common transportation • Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, office environments, confined spaces, and at heights • Ability to climb vertical ladders and construction staging of various heights • Ability to use small tools and wear required PPE • Auditor certification or equivalent experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities, including recognized auditor certification, qualifying oil and gas audit or technical experience, or verifiable technical/auditing competence
