📋 Description

• Responsibility for international payroll processing and advising our clients in various countries, taking into account relevant social security regulations and double taxation agreements (DTAs) • Performing payroll for employees at home and abroad, including shadow payrolls, payroll for expatriates and business travellers (optionally acting as a Single Point of Contact, SPOC) • Monitoring payroll deadlines and payment processes with the relevant authorities • Monitoring legal changes domestically and internationally and implementing required adjustments in payroll • Handling (de-)registrations to obtain tax IDs and social security numbers • Filing applications for international assignments, such as tax exemption applications, applications for tax class 1 for limited tax-liable individuals, and A1 certificates • Providing support and assistance during audits with regard to German payroll tax and social security law

🎯 Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or an equivalent commercial qualification • Several years of experience in payroll processing and social security law, particularly in an international context • Excellent German and English skills required • Proficient in DATEV • Important: You want to bring your sense of humor and your personality to our team?
