📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and automate security detections to improve the effectiveness, speed, and quality of threat, suspicious behavior, and incident identification. • Create, review, and optimize detection rules, use cases, correlations, and alerts. • Develop automations for enrichment, triage, initial response, and reducing manual effort. • Support threat hunting through hypotheses based on intelligence, behavior, and the environment’s exposure. • Integrate relevant log and telemetry sources to increase detection coverage. • Assess false positives, visibility gaps, and opportunities to improve security controls. • Document use cases, detection logic, playbooks, and response criteria. • Collaborate with CSIRT, BlueOps, Red Team, IAM, Cloud/Network, and AppSec teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, NDR, query languages, and log analysis. • Advanced knowledge of attack techniques and detection engineering. • Experience with automation, scripting, APIs, or SOAR. • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, networking, identity, cloud, and applications. • Ability to analyze alerts, events, and telemetry with technical depth.
