β’ Provide administrative and clerical support to the department such as checking Ops Sheets, creating labels etc. β’ Review and process order entries from customers, sales team, and EDI systems β’ Verify and ensure accurate information in terms of product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules β’ Create accurate requested purchase orders, confirming details and specifications with the sales team and send them to suppliers β’ Input purchase order information into company systems and Excel spreadsheets, including pricing details and order specifications β’ Assist with obtaining compliance paperwork and certificates as required by carriers and suppliers β’ Coordinate daily communications with suppliers regarding orders, shortage, substitutes, discrepancies, date changes and relay information to the sales team, freight team and accounting team β’ Update purchase orders and systems promptly to reflect any changes and ensure accuracy β’ Familiarize yourself with customer and supplier preferences β’ Support special projects and reports as requested by management β’ Communicate via email, Teams.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role β’ Previous experience in processing orders, particularly in handling entries from various sources including EDI systems and collaboration with sales teams β’ Strong ability to verify product specifications, pricing details, and delivery schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards β’ Familiarity in creating purchase orders, and liaising with the sales teams and suppliers β’ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers β’ Exceptional communication skills both oral and written β’ US-Based logistics experience required
