📋 Description

• Lead the delivery of studies, contract management, and client relations for projects • Be responsible for the budgets and margins of assigned projects • Contribute to tender responses in coordination with the manager • Work on bank protection, slope stability, ecological restoration, ecological continuity, and river renaturalization projects • Work on hydraulic structures, civil engineering works, levees, dams, and associated structures • Lead and produce preliminary studies, preliminary design, detailed design, and tender documents, and supervise construction activities (VISA, DET, AOR) • Lead and produce regulatory studies and documentation, including hazard studies, detailed technical inspections, safety assessments, and stability calculations • Conduct feasibility and design studies • Coordinate project delivery • Provide construction supervision for approximately 30% of the time, depending on workload and project phases • Produce and/or contribute to the preparation of proposals • Support and supervise design engineers • Work in France and internationally, with occasional travel

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Hydraulic Engineering, with a specialization in hydraulic structures • Minimum 12 years of experience in a contractor or engineering consultancy working on river engineering projects, including studies and construction supervision • Knowledge of hydraulic structures, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering (soil–structure interaction), and aquatic environments • Ability to manage contracts and meet commitments in a multi-project environment • Ability to work as part of a team and supervise design engineers • Strong written communication skills for report writing and verbal communication skills for participating in meetings • Self-motivated and comfortable building and maintaining client relationships • Fluency in English and ability to work in an international environment
