• Develop and produce control system design drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD. • Support the design of building automation and control systems for HVAC and related systems under the guidance of senior engineers. • Assist with layout, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs for control systems. • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and consistent design delivery. • Contribute to low-voltage system design efforts, including controls, fire alarm, and related systems as needed. • Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project standards. • Support design reviews by incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions. • Assist with preparation of submittals, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation. • Follow internal QA/QC processes and applicable industry standards and codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience). • 3−6+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or low-voltage systems. • Proficiency in Revit is strongly preferred; experience with AutoCAD required. • Basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and integration with HVAC systems. • Exposure to fire alarm and/or other low-voltage systems (security, communications) is a plus. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills. • Able to work effectively in a team environment and support multiple projects simultaneously. • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting project deadlines • Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
