📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, especially India GTM/Sales transactions and enterprise customer contracts • Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams on high-growth go-to-market strategies • Monitor and interpret regional legal and regulatory developments involving data protection, technology, and AI • Apply legal and regulatory knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment • Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies • Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams • Support responsible growth and innovation across multiple jurisdictions • Help scale the Legal Team’s commercial function and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in India • 7+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience • In-house experience in technology or SaaS strongly preferred • Experience working for a US-based or global multinational from India • Direct experience working with customers in and outside India • Experience navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments • Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements • Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property • Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills • Comfort working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional and global colleagues • Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines • Proactive, business-minded approach focused on practical compliance and commercial solutions
