📋 Description

• Develop, modify, enhance, and support ABAP reports and custom programs based on business requirements • Work extensively with SAP Data Dictionary objects • Develop reports using internal tables, work areas, field symbols, loops, modularization, and database operations • Develop and enhance ALV reports using appropriate ALV frameworks • Work on SAP forms, including Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms • Analyze existing custom programs and perform modifications, enhancements, and bug fixes • Debug ABAP programs to identify root causes and resolve functional and technical issues • Follow coding, naming, documentation, and development best practices • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions • Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support • Prepare technical specifications and documentation • Coordinate with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts, debugging, error handling, and performance considerations • Extensive experience with SAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects, including tables, structures, data elements, domains, views, search helps, and table types • Experience developing reports using internal tables, work areas, field symbols, loops, modularization, and database operations • Hands-on experience with Function Modules, subroutines, methods, and other modularization techniques • Experience developing and enhancing ALV reports using appropriate ALV frameworks • Experience with SAP forms, including Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms • Experience analyzing and modifying existing custom programs, performing enhancements and bug fixes • Experience with ABAP debugging to identify root causes and resolve functional/technical issues • Knowledge of coding standards, naming conventions, documentation standards, and development best practices • Ability to work with functional consultants to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support • Ability to prepare technical specifications and development documentation • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
