📋 Description

• Design the company’s cloud and data architecture • Shape solution architectures with enterprise architects, senior architects, business leaders, and IT teams • Support modernization initiatives focused on performance, efficiency, and cost optimization • Partner with the Innovation Lab to evaluate Generative AI and Advanced Analytics technologies • Translate experimentation into practical patterns and recommendations for delivery teams • Influence architectural decisions and contribute to standards and governance • Document target-state architectures, reference architectures, and key dependencies • Design and support migration of complex systems to scalable, secure, cost-optimized cloud architectures • Evaluate and prototype new technologies and applications • Provide input into business cases and recommendations • Guide adoption of architectural standards, best practices, and governance expectations • Design end-to-end solutions with business and engineering teams • Provide guidance on process design, system orchestration, and enterprise integration • Champion security, resilience, and scalability across data platforms and solutions • Produce reusable patterns, decision documentation, and lessons learned • Support full-stack development teams through solution design and implementation

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience delivering data-intensive solutions, such as data engineering, analytics engineering, data platforms, BI, or related roles • At least 1 year of solution design ownership for moderately complex initiatives as an architect, senior engineer, or technical lead • Experience in multiple data-focused roles, including Data Engineer, Data Architect, Database Administrator, BI or Analytics Engineer, Data Science, or data governance • Competency in architecture frameworks and performance optimization • Knowledge of availability, caching, monitoring, scalability, and security • Strong expertise in data and cloud architecture; AWS preferred • Experience with Snowflake or Redshift • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and reporting solutions • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience • Nice-to-have experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, data quality controls, and batch and near-real-time workloads • Nice-to-have streaming and event-driven data experience with Kafka or Kinesis • Nice-to-have API and integration experience, including API governance, versioning, security, and event-driven integration • Nice-to-have data platform modernization experience with Spark or comparable distributed compute • Nice-to-have data security and privacy experience, including encryption, masking, tokenization, access controls, and auditability • Nice-to-have cloud cost and performance experience, including FinOps, right-sizing, storage optimization, and performance engineering • Nice-to-have DevOps for data experience, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, or EKS • Nice-to-have applied AI and GenAI experience • Nice-to-have Java, microservices, and third-party API integration experience • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a nice-to-have • Education lists a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
