📋 Description

• Design company cloud and data architecture as a hands-on technical expert and solution-shaping architecture contributor • Partner with enterprise architects, senior architects, business leaders, and IT teams to define solution architectures • Support modernization initiatives focused on performance, efficiency, and cost optimization • Partner with the Innovation Lab to explore Generative AI and Advanced Analytics technologies • Translate experimentation into practical patterns and recommendations for delivery teams • Influence architectural decisions and contribute to technology standards and governance • Document target-state architectures, reference architectures, and key dependencies • Design and support modernization and migration of complex systems to scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures • Evaluate and prototype new technologies and applications • Provide input into business cases and recommendations • Guide adoption of architectural standards, best practices, and governance expectations • Collaborate with business and engineering teams on end-to-end solutions • Provide architectural guidance in process design, system orchestration, and enterprise integration • Champion security, resilience, and scalability across data platforms and solutions • Produce reusable patterns, decision documentation, and lessons learned • Support full-stack development teams through solution design and implementation

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience delivering data-intensive solutions, such as data engineering, analytics engineering, data platforms, BI, or related roles • At least 1 year of demonstrated solution design ownership for moderately complex initiatives • Experience in multiple data-focused roles, including Data Engineer, Data Architect, Database Administrator, BI or Analytics Engineer, Data Science, data governance, or similar • Competency in architecture frameworks, performance optimization, availability, caching, monitoring, scalability, and security • Strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate architecture decisions clearly in distributed environments • Expertise in designing data and cloud architecture; AWS preferred • Experience with systems such as Snowflake or Redshift • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and reporting solutions • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience • Nice-to-have experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, data quality, batch and near-real-time workloads • Nice-to-have streaming and event-driven data experience with Kafka or Kinesis • Nice-to-have API and integration experience, including API governance, versioning, security, and event-driven integration • Nice-to-have data platform modernization experience with Spark or comparable distributed compute • Nice-to-have data security and privacy experience, including encryption, masking, tokenization, access controls, and auditability • Nice-to-have FinOps, workload right-sizing, storage optimization, and performance engineering experience • Nice-to-have CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, or EKS experience • Nice-to-have applied AI and GenAI experience • Nice-to-have Java, microservices, and third-party API integration experience • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is nice to have • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
