📋 Description

• Develop and implement a group-wide IT strategy aligned with encoviva’s buy-and-build strategy • Take responsibility for establishing IT processes, policies, and documentation, with the prospect of leading a central IT team • Plan budgets, control costs, and prioritize IT investments • Support innovative AI initiatives to optimize encoviva’s processes and services • Define a scalable target IT architecture and standardize IT systems and processes across all portfolio companies • Build, operate, and continuously develop a modern IT infrastructure, as well as introduce and support central business applications such as ERP and CRM systems • Take responsibility for networks, servers, end-user devices, and Identity & Access Management • Manage external IT service providers, MSPs, and software vendors • Establish and implement a comprehensive IT security and data protection framework, with responsibility for cybersecurity, backup and recovery concepts, business continuity, and incident management • Ensure GDPR compliance and adherence to relevant IT standards, with ISO 27001 certification as a future objective • Conduct risk analyses, security audits, and security awareness initiatives • Provide IT support for company acquisitions, including IT due diligence • Plan and implement the IT integration of new portfolio companies, including the integration of systems, data, and security standards into the existing encoviva blueprint

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification • Several years of experience in IT management, ideally in high-growth or decentralized organizations • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS, networking, and security • Experience building scalable IT structures and standards • Excellent understanding of IT security, data protection, and compliance • Experience with M&A or integration projects is an advantage • Entrepreneurial mindset, a high degree of ownership, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach • Very good command of German and English
