📋 Description

• Independently manage the full payroll cycle for Lithuanian and foreign entities, including salary calculations, overtime, bonuses, vacation pay, sick leave, and other compensation components • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with Lithuanian labor law, tax regulations, and internal company policies • Prepare and submit payroll-related tax declarations and reports to VMI and SODRA, including GPM, VSD, and PSD contributions • Maintain and reconcile payroll accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate general ledger entries related to payroll • Administer employee timesheets, attendance records, and employment documentation in accordance with legal requirements • Collaborate with HR on employee data, onboarding/offboarding payroll setup, and employment contract changes affecting compensation • Support internal and external audits by preparing payroll documentation and reports • Monitor changes in Lithuanian labor legislation and tax regulations and maintain payroll compliance • Coordinate with third-party payroll providers and tax consultants for foreign entities as needed • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of payroll processes and internal controls

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in payroll accounting or payroll administration • Solid knowledge of Lithuanian labor law, payroll taxation (GPM, VSD, PSD), and social security regulations • Experience with payroll-related reporting to VMI and SODRA • Proficiency in payroll and/or ERP accounting software (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar) • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for payroll data analysis and reconciliation • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion • AI proficiency and experience in implementation of tools for process improvements • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight monthly deadlines • Fluent in Lithuanian and proficient in English (spoken and written) • English CV required • A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred • Experience processing payroll for multiple entities or international group companies is nice to have • Experience with payroll process automation or system implementation projects is nice to have
