📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services for a cloud-based IoT platform • Build reliable, scalable, and secure APIs for web applications, mobile applications, devices, and external systems • Contribute to the architecture of backend components, microservices, data flows, and integrations • Work on device management, telemetry ingestion, user management, notifications, reporting, firmware updates, and system integrations • Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps engineers, architects, QA, product stakeholders, and external partners • Ensure backend services are observable, maintainable, and production-ready • Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices • Contribute to technical decisions around scalability, performance, security, and maintainability

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a Backend Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role • Solid experience designing and implementing backend services and REST APIs • Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures • Experience with relational and/or time-series databases • Good knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices • Experience writing automated tests and working with CI/CD pipelines • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset • Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments • Fluency in English, both written and spoken • Experience with Python, Microsoft Azure, Azure services, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitOps tools, IoT platforms, message brokers, event-driven architecture, high-throughput data pipelines, infrastructure as code, Terraform, monitoring, logging, tracing, and production support are considered a plus but are not mandatory
