📋 Description

• Create, review and maintain EPI’s operating rules and regulations • Translate market, product and regulatory requirements into clear and effective scheme documentation • Collaborate with EPI teams, member banks and stakeholders to evolve the scheme framework • Manage onboarding of new PSP applicants for EPI membership • Ensure completeness, consistency and compliance of membership submissions • Assess applicant documentation from risk, financial stability and AML perspectives • Identify potential concerns and areas requiring clarification • Prepare recommendations for the Membership Management Committee • Highlight risks, observations and onboarding decisions • Act as key point of contact for applicant institutions throughout membership assessment • Ensure accurate management, storage and governance of membership and scheme-related documentation • Contribute to continuous improvement of governance frameworks supporting EPI’s growth and expansion • Report to the Chief Scheme Officer • Work closely with internal stakeholders, member banks and prospective members

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in payments, scheme management, regulatory affairs, risk management or a related function • A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or a related field is preferred • Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2) • French, German, Dutch or other European languages are a plus • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, multicultural environment • Strong knowledge of the European payments landscape, including EPC SCT Inst, account-to-account payments, payment regulations and scheme dynamics • Proven experience drafting, reviewing or maintaining rules and regulations within a payment scheme or comparable environment • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Experience translating complex regulatory and business concepts into clear documentation • Experience working in a financial institution, payment scheme, fintech or regulated payments organization • Knowledge of risk management, financial stability assessments and AML-related controls within payments environments
