📋 Description

• Create, review and maintain EPI’s operating rules and regulations by translating market, product and regulatory requirements into clear and effective scheme documentation. • Collaborate with EPI teams, member banks and stakeholders to ensure the scheme framework evolves alongside business and regulatory needs. • Manage the onboarding process of new PSP applicants for EPI membership, ensuring completeness, consistency and compliance of submissions. • Assess applicant documentation from risk, financial stability and AML perspectives, identifying potential concerns and areas requiring clarification. • Prepare recommendations for the Membership Management Committee, highlighting risks, observations and onboarding decisions. • Act as a key point of contact for applicant institutions throughout the membership assessment process. • Ensure accurate management, storage and governance of membership and scheme-related documentation. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance frameworks supporting EPI’s growth and expansion.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in payments, scheme management, regulatory affairs, risk management or a related function. • A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or a related field is preferred. • Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German, Dutch or other European languages are a plus. • Strong knowledge of the European payments landscape, including EPC SCT Inst, account-to-account payments, payment regulations and scheme dynamics. • Proven experience drafting, reviewing or maintaining rules and regulations within a payment scheme or comparable environment. • Experience working in a financial institution, payment scheme, fintech or regulated payments organization. • Knowledge of risk management, financial stability assessments and AML-related controls within payments environments.
