📋 Description

• Cross-functional management of all IT projects and programs across Infrastructure, Cloud & AI Platforms, Security, and Application Management • Build and maintain a transparent IT project portfolio • Prioritize projects in coordination with department heads • Manage cross-functional projects, including cloud services, international expansion, AI rollouts, and new site implementations • Provide regular updates to the VP on portfolio status, risks, and decisions required • Lead IT Project Managers in a matrix organization by defining priorities, quality standards, and work packages • Collaborate on project planning and support the ongoing development of Project Managers • Establish and operate a structured project intake and demand management process • Evaluate incoming project requests • Identify and resolve dependencies, with early escalation of blockers or resource shortages • Ensure that all IT projects go through the portfolio process • Ensure smooth handovers of project deliverables into operations • Establish consistent project standards, templates, status reports, and milestones

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience managing IT project portfolios in technically complex environments • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional IT projects—not just individual projects • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud and AI platforms, Application Management, and Security • Experience with project portfolio management, including prioritization, dependency analysis, and resource planning • Pragmatic expertise in both agile and traditional methodologies • Ability to deliver results through matrix leadership without direct managerial authority • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels • Highly structured approach to work • Strong conflict-resolution skills • Self-motivated and able to take ownership in building a new function • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders at different organizational levels • Very good German and good English language skills
