📋 Description

• Develop and execute the organization’s data strategy and architecture aligned with business objectives • Translate business requirements into scalable data architecture, models and technical specifications • Design and manage data models, metadata, lineage and data catalogs • Architect and integrate batch and real-time data pipelines across diverse sources and platforms • Establish and enforce data governance, quality, security, privacy and regulatory standards • Design and deploy scalable cloud and hybrid data platforms, optimizing performance and cost • Implement data profiling, validation, cleansing and lifecycle management processes • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data platforms, pipelines and infrastructure • Collaborate with business leaders, engineers and data scientists to deliver data solutions • Lead data architecture initiatives and mentor teams on standards, tools and best practices • Evaluate emerging data, cloud, big data and AI technologies and recommend relevant solutions • Provide expert services remotely while integrated into the company team collaborating closely with a major client’s on-site IT team

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline • Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience • At least 2 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and platform assessment, including BI, data and integration environments • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with enterprise relational databases/DWH, including SQL analysis, troubleshooting and performance optimization • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools, developing, adapting and troubleshooting pipelines • At least 2 years applying data modelling across conceptual, logical and physical layers, including 3NF, Data Vault and dimensional/star-schema approaches • At least 1 year involved in enterprise data/BI/DWH migrations • Experience with metadata and cataloguing platforms such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview or OpenLineage • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or Amazon Redshift • One of TOGAF, CDMP, DAMA-DMBoK or an equivalent certification mandatory • Excellent command of English
