📋 Description

• Advise clients on their event objectives during consultations • Develop proposals tailored to the occasion, number of attendees, and budget • Prepare quotes and explain available options • Answer outstanding questions, follow up, and guide inquiries through to booking • Research venues, hotels, and service providers and compare proposals • Use framework agreements and negotiate terms and commissions on behalf of clients • Coordinate services and schedules with providers and oversee event execution • Assess the impact of changes on costs and timelines and clarify the next steps • Monitor costs and budgets and support events through to final invoicing • Maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for additional events • Use feedback from events to improve planning • Provide the product team with specific examples and feedback to help further develop the platform • Take responsibility for revenue and work toward agreed quarterly targets

🎯 Requirements

• Initial experience in sales • Experience in customer consulting, explaining proposals, or supporting customers through the decision-making process • Experience independently managing customer inquiries or projects • Able to demonstrate, with an example, how you kept track of schedules, arrangements, and costs • English proficiency at least at B2 level for proposals and phone calls • Willingness to learn new software and assess whether its results are suitable for the customer inquiry • Ability to use figures from proposals and budgets to inform decisions • Ability to incorporate feedback into your work • Sales experience at a hotel, venue, or caterer is helpful but not required • Experience at an event agency or in an in-house event team is welcome • Experience in procurement, event or CRM software, and relevant professional training are helpful but not required
