📋 Description

• Develop and maintain our disk-imaging core in C • Work close to the system in the areas of the Windows kernel and file systems • Ensure stability and data integrity on live and production systems • Develop security-relevant components, including encryption • Optimize the performance of memory- and I/O-intensive code • Collaborate closely with the development team on architectural decisions for our storage and backup solution • Continue developing ondeso SR, an integrated backup solution for industrial PCs without requiring a reboot or interrupting production

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in systems-level C development • Experience with low-level Windows programming, e.g., in the areas of kernels, drivers, or file systems • In-depth understanding of memory management and performance-critical code • Experience working with live and production systems where stability is essential • Independent, meticulous approach to work and willingness to learn new topics • Enjoyment of technical depth rather than rapid feature stacking • Strong communication skills, including in remote settings and within a small team • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, as well as good English skills • Knowledge of the Windows Driver Kit (WDK) and/or driver development • Experience with storage or backup software • Knowledge of cryptographic and encryption methods • Experience with industrial OT environments or industrial PCs • Basic knowledge of Linux • Experience with cloud environments, such as Azure or AWS • Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based • Willingness to provide information about any visa or sponsorship support required
