📋 Description

• Develop data solutions for clients of various sizes to address specific business challenges. • Advise clients on building and enhancing modern data platforms, primarily based on Databricks. • Implement scalable data models and data pipelines in accordance with best practices. • Automate and optimize existing data pipelines using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code. • Tackle a wide range of challenges, from client workshops to in-depth coding sessions. • Assume subject-matter responsibility and lead (parts of) projects.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with data platforms, data lakehouses, or data warehouses. • Very good knowledge of designing and implementing cloud data platforms, preferably Databricks on AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python. • Willingness to advise clients on business and technical issues and develop sustainable solutions. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain the support of clients, stakeholders, and team members for innovative solutions. • Willingness to actively share knowledge with colleagues and continuously develop professionally and technologically. • Willingness to travel occasionally as part of client projects. • Confident communication skills in German (C2) and English (C1), with the ability to communicate technical concepts appropriately to different audiences. • Ideally, experience with modern orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform). • Ideally, Databricks certifications or comparable cloud or data platform certifications. • Ideally, knowledge of streaming, machine learning, AI, or BI and CPM systems. • Ideally, knowledge of Data Vault, dimensional modeling, or 3NF. • Ideally, experience with Databricks Genie.
