📋 Description

• Drive financial planning and strategy for India and US entities in alignment with global business goals • Advise leadership on profitability, pricing, project costing, and expansion plans • Ensure adherence to financial regulations in India and the US • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports across both geographies • Consolidate India and US financial statements and ensure timely management reporting • Ensure compliance with Ind-AS/Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS where applicable • Track and report KPIs including margins, cash flow, receivables, and utilization • Supervise end-to-end accounting, taxation, and audits for India and US operations • Manage GST, income tax, TDS, Companies Act, FEMA, SEZ/STPI, federal and state tax, payroll, 401(k), and SOX compliance as applicable • Manage transfer pricing, inter-company transactions, and cross-border fund movements • Coordinate with internal and external auditors in both geographies • Manage working capital, foreign exchange, and inter-company fund flows • Build banking relationships in India and the US • Monitor global cash flow for operational liquidity and cost efficiency • Lead finance and accounts teams across India and coordinate with US counterparts and outsourced partners • Drive automation and ERP implementation for global reporting • Mentor team members and promote financial discipline

🎯 Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or MBA (Finance) • Dual CA + CPA qualifications preferred • 17+ years of experience • At least 10+ years in a leadership role managing India and US finance and accounts • Strong expertise in Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, GST, Income Tax, and FEMA • Strong expertise in US GAAP, federal and state taxation, and payroll compliance • Expertise in transfer pricing and cross-border taxation • Experience handling multi-currency transactions, global client billing, and revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15) • Proven ability to liaise with auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and regulatory authorities in India and the US • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills • Experience in the IT/ITES/technology services sector preferred • Exposure to M&A, fundraising, investor relations, and global expansion preferred • Familiarity with ERP/financial systems • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global service environment
