📋 Description

• Watch videos and assess how they are edited • Identify awkward jump cuts, broken continuity, and pacing problems • Judge whether stories or sequences make sense • Write clear, detailed explanations of what works, what does not, and why • Point to specific moments rather than giving general impressions • Some hands-on editing work may be added later • Use written editorial judgments to help train an AI system

🎯 Requirements

• Professional editing experience in long-form work: short film, documentary, wedding films, long-form YouTube, or TV • Strong DaVinci Resolve skills — this is the main software • Fluent English, spoken and written • Able to explain editorial reasoning in writing, not just do the cut • A reel or portfolio including pieces over five minutes • Computer that runs DaVinci Resolve comfortably • Stable internet connection • Colour grading or sound experience is helpful but not required • Experience taking structured notes from a director or producer is helpful but not required
