📋 Description

• Provide technology and product consulting and technical sales support for account opportunities • Perform high-level and in-depth technical presentations for customers, prospects, and Extreme channel partners • Support RFI/RFP responses • Organize and lead Proof of Concept activities • Design solutions meeting customer requirements • Participate as a specialist on assigned virtual teams and contribute to other team activities • Travel domestically and internationally as required

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of the market in The Netherlands • Excellent presentation skills and fluency in English • Strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory in a similar position • Sound knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching • Knowledge of IPv4/v6 routing concepts • Knowledge of overlay networking and VPNs • Knowledge of Wi-Fi operation and design • Knowledge of network security principles • Knowledge and practical experience in cloud technologies and cloud-based network management platforms is an advantage • Knowledge of compute and network virtualization principles is an advantage • Knowledge of network management and orchestration software is an advantage • Knowledge of SD-WAN is an advantage • Knowledge of automation scripting and APIs is an advantage • Ability to work on customer project teams, design and PoC labs, set successful PoC criteria, and develop solution designs • Ability to build and maintain customer and partner networks as a trusted advisor • Willingness to assume a team-lead role when business requires additional account-team resources • Experience working with partners is required for technical product training • Major account experience and experience closing deals • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of future trends and market directions • Ability to support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and detailed design requirements • Good general hands-on lab experience is a plus • Extreme Networks certifications are desirable but not mandatory • Recognized industry certifications are a plus
