📋 Description

• Drive the technical presales motion across Brazil and the broader LATAM region • Identify customer pain points and architect modern edge, AI, and cybersecurity solutions • Lead deep technical discovery with enterprise prospects to understand architecture, AI workloads, and infrastructure needs • Conduct live product demonstrations and technical evaluations, including PoCs and PoVs • Position and deploy Fastly’s AI and Security portfolio, including AI Firewall, AI Runtime Control, AI Bot Management, and LLM/Agent Protection capabilities • Guide clients in discovering unmapped APIs, validating traffic schemas at the edge, and mitigating OWASP API Top 10 risks • Design custom solution architectures and guide customers through security configurations • Author technical responses to proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires, including compliance with local standards such as LGPD • Partner with Account Executives on regional deal strategy and provide market feedback to Product and Engineering teams • Build customer-facing technical content, conduct workshops and webinars, and educate partners and Account Executives on threat landscapes and AI security trends

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of total experience in IT/Cloud • Minimum of 5+ years in a customer-facing Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect presales role • Proven, hands-on experience in cloud architectures, Web Application Security (WAF, DDoS, API Security), Content Delivery Networks (CDN/Edge), and Bot Management • Understanding of modern AI traffic patterns, LLM application architecture, API gateways, and AI governance/security requirements • Native or fluent Portuguese • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken • Current residency in or near São Paulo, Brazil, with the ability to engage locally with enterprise clients • Track record of supporting enterprise opportunities across Financial Services/Open Finance, Retail/E-commerce, Telecom, and Government • Ability to read, write, or learn web scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript, VCL, Python, Go, or Rust • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically within Brazil and regionally across LATAM • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and executive-level communication skills
