📋 Description

• Own the full accounting function across Filigran’s entities, including revenue recognition, consolidation, monthly and year-end close, and internal controls • Report directly to the VP of Finance • Own the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions across entities • Improve the monthly and quarterly close process • Ensure revenue recognition is correctly applied and documented • Lead consolidation across the international entity structure, including new entity setups • Partner with the VP of Finance on transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and cross-border compliance • Perform accounting process gap analyses and implement internal controls and policies • Manage the yearly financial audit and act as primary auditor contact • Manage the external accounting firm relationship • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows • Build auditable and transferable accounting documentation • Act as a thought partner to the VP of Finance on technical accounting and process design • Manage the current team of three general accountants and grow the team • Support ad hoc finance requests, including payroll coordination

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in accounting roles, including senior/lead or controller-level experience • Strong knowledge of French accounting standards • Exposure to multi-GAAP/consolidation environments is a strong plus • Proven ability to build processes and internal controls from scratch in a fast-growing or scaling environment • Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ambiguity; adapts quickly to change • Prior people management experience
