📋 Description

• Financial oversight and business partnering for the brokerage business • Strategic sparring partner to the executive management team • Responsibility for monthly performance and contribution margin analyses of the trading and non-trading businesses • Analysis of the customer funnel, trading activity, revenue streams, and net interest income • Support for budgeting and forecasting in Pigment • Analysis of plan-versus-actual variances • Preparation of management reports and development of actionable recommendations • Central Controlling contact for Marketing and Product • Monthly analysis of marketing and product costs across all business areas • Evaluation of activity efficiency based on CAC, LTV, yield, and cohort analyses • Support for budgeting and forecasting for Marketing & Product • Preparation of target-versus-actual, variance, scenario, and ad hoc analyses • Translating complex financial relationships into clear, actionable recommendations • Close collaboration with executive management, Accounting, Treasury, Data, Marketing, and Product • Continuous improvement of Controlling and reporting processes

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification • At least five years of professional experience in Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and KPI management • Proficiency in LucaNet, Pigment, or Anaplan • Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO • Advanced Excel skills • Strong financial modeling and complex data analysis skills • Understanding of the value drivers of a brokerage business, or a demonstrably fast ability to learn new business models • Structured, independent, and thorough approach to work • Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset • Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and convincingly • Willingness to collaborate with a range of specialist teams • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken, including management and investor reporting • Preferred: Professional experience at a broker, neobroker, bank, FinTech, or another capital-markets-related company • Preferred: Knowledge of unit economics, cohort analyses, and the evaluation of customer and business development • Preferred: Practical experience with SQL or Databricks • Preferred: Experience reporting to private equity investors • Preferred: Personal interest in financial markets and personal trading experience
