📋 Description

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team with a focus on ownership, agile collaboration, and self-organized work • Drive the technical development of the Neo Broker and financial portal in collaboration with Product, Design, and other stakeholders • Contribute brokerage and investment industry expertise to technical and business decisions • Collaborate with product teams to deliver new features and user experiences across the entire investment journey • Promote technical excellence through architecture, code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement • Establish efficient development processes and ensure high software quality • Actively support recruiting processes and help grow the engineering team • Take end-to-end responsibility for developing business functionality within a cross-functional team through to production ownership

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience developing and operating cloud-based web applications, ideally on AWS • Very strong hands-on knowledge of Java, REST APIs, and modern SPA frameworks such as Angular • Experience in the technical and disciplinary management of engineering teams • Practical experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence • Analytical and strategic thinking, combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach • A high degree of initiative, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for collaborative work • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or a comparable qualification • Deep understanding of brokerage products, securities trading, and investment processes, with experience in the neo-broker space • Passion for technology, digital products, and modern investment experiences • Very good command of German and English
