📋 Description

• Own the full engineering scope of regulatory reporting, including pipelines, data models, formats, quality checks and releases • Coordinate with engineering, data platform and product teams whose data and systems feed reports • Run recurring monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and data extractions accurately and on time • Update existing reports and build new reports as requirements change • Build pipelines, governed datasets and semantic models on the lakehouse • Generate external formats, including XML, and support submissions • Set up business checks, data quality standards and alerting • Work with the Business Analyst and Report Owners on reusable requirement templates, data standards and data contracts • Bring datasets to self-service level for the reporting team • Own reports end to end and work directly with stakeholders • Curate releases with full data governance

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in data, engineering, analytics engineering or technical analytics • Strong, expert-level SQL • Working Python, including generating files in formats such as XML • Experience with data pipelines and a data warehouse or lakehouse • Ability to turn technical requirements into working reports and adjust existing ones • Comfortable being the technical point of contact across teams and driving dependent work • Precision-focused when speed and precision conflict • Interest in owning the data behind a process • Engineer moving into analytics, or analyst with solid engineering skills • Regulatory or external reporting experience (nice to have) • Experience with XML schemas, report exports or integrations with external recipients (nice to have) • dbt, Databricks or Spark (nice to have) • Background in fintech, banking, insurance, investments, trading or government projects (nice to have)
