📋 Description

• Guide a cross-functional team of 5–10 engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA • Deliver products that create value for hundreds of thousands of European businesses • Challenge problem framing with the Product Manager and ensure the team solves the right problems • Prioritize based on business value, effort, ROI, retention, and conversion outcomes • Balance feature delivery with technical debt and scalability • Make technical decisions through explicit trade-offs and unblock the team when needed • Conduct meaningful 1:1s, create growth plans, and own hiring and promotions • Build engaged teams through feedback and coaching • Improve team productivity through better tools, processes, and reduced bottlenecks • Partner with Product and Design to drive predictable delivery • Communicate priorities, risks, and constraints proactively • Encourage healthy debate and support “disagree and commit” decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development building data-intensive production systems • Proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams • Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one general-purpose language/platform: C#/.NET, Java/JVM, JavaScript/Node, or Go • Experience with distributed architectures, databases, messaging, and queueing systems • Experience in product-led organizations, ideally with international scope • Strong business acumen connecting engineering work to revenue, retention, and trust • Comfortable with product metrics including DAU/MAU, retention, and conversion funnels • Exceptional communication in English across all audiences • Builder's mentality focused on shipping products and growing teams • Experience with technologies including .NET Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, React, Swift/Kotlin, Python/ML frameworks, and modern QA tools
