📋 Description

• Develop Finom's central data model, certified metrics and data products • Design entities, metrics and data products with tests, lineage and documentation • Build and maintain pipelines and onboard new data sources end to end • Maintain CI/CD and data quality checks and participate in migrations • Interview stakeholders, understand business processes and scope data needs • Connect data work to business cost and value and suggest process improvements • Participate in recurring reporting, regulatory and audit cycles, reconciliations and business data requests • Build and evaluate LLM steps for translation, classification, aggregation and unstructured-data preparation • Expose the semantic layer to internal tools and agents through MCP and APIs • Prepare reproducible, traceable data for agentic tools, AI harnesses and external recipients • Own a domain roadmap and mentor others in semantic-layer and analytics-engineering practices • Report to the Head of Central Data

🎯 Requirements

• Expert SQL and strong dimensional or semantic data modelling skills • Working Python skills, with tests and version control • Experience building metrics and semantic layers • ETL and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, including onboarding data sources end to end • Hands-on production experience using LLMs for data work, such as classification, extraction, translation, or agents • Ability to work like a consultant to the business and frame solutions in terms of business value • Databricks and Unity Catalog experience (nice to have) • Hands-on experience with or understanding of MCP, tool calling, tracing and evals for LLM applications and agents (nice to have) • Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n (nice to have) • CI/CD, orchestration and infrastructure-as-code experience (nice to have) • Fintech or banking background, or experience in another high-volume operational-flow business (nice to have) • English is the working language
