📋 Description

• Build robust, scalable financial infrastructure for Finom's all-in-one B2B financial platform • Work as part of a cross-functional domain team with Backend, Frontend, Mobile, ML/AI, and QA engineers • Understand product and customer needs and proactively identify opportunities for better outcomes • Discuss technical trade-offs with product managers and explain technical constraints to business stakeholders • Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers on end-to-end solutions • Architect and evolve distributed systems in production • Take ownership of code and outcomes, including addressing customer issues and improving team processes • Mentor colleagues and explore adjacent technical domains • Apply automated testing, conduct code reviews, and follow security best practices • Help evolve a shared product area serving hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional backend development with a product engineering mindset • Excellent knowledge of .NET platform and C# • Hands-on experience architecting and evolving distributed systems in production • Proven ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers from other disciplines • Strong business acumen and understanding of how work connects to company objectives • Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences • Builder's mentality and focus on shipping great products • Experience with data-intensive applications • Understanding of working in a regulated environment • Automated testing, thorough code reviews, and security best practices • Backend technologies: PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, GCP • Familiarity with React, Swift, Kotlin, Python/ML frameworks, Playwright, and Appium
