📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end billing operations for consumption-based billing, including Direct and Marketplace models • Perform billing validations, control checks, reconciliations, exception reviews, and variance resolution • Review invoices for adherence to company policies and contractual terms • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives in billing workflows • Create and maintain NetSuite reports, dashboards, and saved searches • Develop ad hoc queries and analysis for business insights and decision-making • Track and manage billing-related emails and queries, ensuring timely and professional responses • Partner with FP&A and GTM Operations on forecasting, accruals, and revenue visibility • Own billing controls and support smooth month-end and quarter-end close cycles • Lead and manage a team of 4 to 5 direct reports • Manage cross-functional communication and support billing operations in a global environment

🎯 Requirements

• CA / CPA / CMA with 7+ years of experience, OR M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 10+ years of relevant experience • SuiteBilling or Marketplace tooling experience is a plus • Strong experience with NetSuite (preferred) and exposure to Salesforce.com is a plus • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in consumption-based / usage-based billing environments • Ability to manage a team of 4 to 5 direct reports • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; email communication is critical • Proven people management and leadership experience • Ability to handle complex billing scenarios and reconcile large datasets • Ability to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced, global environment • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset and accountability • Experience with Marketplace billing (AWS/Azure etc.) • Exposure to subscription billing tools (e.g., SuiteBilling) • Experience working in a multi-entity / international environment
