📋 Description

• Lead fortification-related regulatory compliance work within partner mills • Manage +F endorsement applications for partner mills • Assist mill partners with new or modified Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) licences and fortification certification • Assist partner mills with label modifications according to FSSAI standards and relevant regulations • Collaborate with Programs and Quality teams on day-to-day fortification activities • Support development of training documents on compliance requirements for millers • Build relationships with local FDA and regional FSSAI officials • Schedule and participate in meetings with FDA and FSSAI officials • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements • Share regulatory updates with internal team members and partner millers • Report to the Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer • Take on evolving responsibilities in discussion with the Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness to travel around 40% of the time, potentially within the base location • Professional fluency in Hindi • Professional proficiency in English • Experience in the food industry • Good technical understanding of food fortification regulations • Bachelors or higher in a related field, such as food technology or nutrition • Ability to document key information accurately and clearly • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work as part of a team • Clear verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to identify problems and proactively determine solutions • Eagerness to learn from setbacks and improve work • Experience working with remote team members (desirable) • Experience working independently (desirable) • Experience working in an NGO or development sector (desirable) • Enthusiasm about improving people’s lives (desirable) • Proficiency in other local languages (desirable)
